Albert Rovers F.C. was an Irish football club based in Cork, that played in the League of Ireland from 1976, changed its name in 1977 briefly to Cork Albert and then to Cork Alberts, and in 1979 to Cork United, before going bankrupt in 1982.〔Niall MacSweeney (n.d.), ''A Record of League of Ireland Football 1921/22-1984/5''. Before election to the League of Ireland, the club was a successful junior club and had previously won both the FAI Intermediate Cup and Munster Senior Cup. Its foundation date is unknown, but its earliest appearance in the FAI Cup was in 1949-50.〔Niall MacSweeney (n.d.), ''A Record of League of Ireland Football 1921/22-1984/5''.
